This course introduces FYS students to the concept of “brand management” — from creating a “personal brand” (i.e., starting a kinetic resume/portfolio that will develop through the students’ college career) to an immersive understanding of and interacting with established brands (i.e., understanding, say, Converse’s branding, as well as working with, say, Creative Music Ensembles to build artist brands, such as EPKs [Electronic Press Kits].)
