This course emphasizes the development of receptive and expressive communication skills using conceptually-accurate sign language and finger spelling in English word order. Various simultaneous signed/spoken communication systems used in the educational setting will be covered. The course, which includes a five-hour clinical, is appropriate as an elective for any major.
