THR 217: ACTING: PERIOD STYLES

This studio course teaches students techniques and vocabulary employed in acting perod styles, namely those genres from eras prior to the late 20th century. Dramaturgical research, textual analysis, and appropriate vocal and physical techniques will be applied to in-depth monologue and scene work from period plays.
Prerequisites

THR 115 or permission of the instructor.
