Welcome Back Valkyries!
I am so excited to welcome each and every one of you back on campus on behalf of the Student Government Association (SGA). I hope all of you took some time this summer to rest and to rejuvenate. It is an exciting time to be at Converse University right now as we are building on our shared values and transforming into a bigger family.
To highlight the spirit of belonging and community, our SGA theme this year is to Support, Grow, and Amplify the student body. We hope to build on last year’s theme to stay Committed to our Community by creating support for student leaders, growing our organizations, and amplifying student voices. This summer, our Montgomery Student Center workout space was refreshed with new equipment and new flooring. Our student organizations are growing faster than ever with 30+ chartered clubs. The enthusiasm for joining and exploring these organizations was evident among new students at all three of the Valkyrie Vision programs this summer!
As our student body, athletic programs, Converse College for Women, and our amazing organizations continue to grow we hope to see every Converse student soar with SGA!
